On the sitting
Casting can be created at any age; however, we highly recommend doing it within the first two weeks for the best tiny details and newborn features.

Please note that our Family Circle Hands sculpture is not recommended for children under 5 years old, as it requires sitting still for a longer period of time.
For younger children, we recommend:
• Individual hand or foot casts
• Family line-up hand casts
• Clasped hands free-standing sculptures.
No — your baby does not need to be asleep during the casting process. However, it is helpful if they have been fed before the appointment, as this helps them stay more relaxed.

The best time to cast a baby or small child is when they are sleeping. Relaxed, sleepy little ones are much easier to cast, helping us achieve the best possible detail and a smooth, stress-free experience.
We do need your little one to stay as still as possible during the molding process, although some movement is completely normal, and absolutely okay!

In most cases, we are still able to achieve a beautiful, usable mold. Favourite toys, treats, videos, or shows can be very helpful distractions to keep children calm and comfortable during the session.
For baby hand and foot casts, as well as free-standing clasped hand sculptures, appointments usually take around 20 to 30 minutes. This includes preparation time, discussing designs, and selecting your preferred frame and colour finishes.

For Family Circle casts, we allocate approximately 1 hour, as the molding process itself takes around 20–30 minutes to set.
The casting process is not particularly messy, and we always use protective sheets throughout the session to keep the area clean.

We do recommend wearing comfortable clothing with sleeves or trouser legs that can easily be rolled up. To be safe, we also advise avoiding delicate or designer clothing during the appointment.
We gently place the paw into a soft natural clay to capture your furry friend's cute 'pawprint' forever.
On the work
The molding solution we use is completely safe and contains no harmful chemicals, even for delicate newborn skin.

We use high-quality alginate — a skin-safe material commonly used in dental molds and life casting. It is a natural product derived from seaweed, making it non-toxic and biodegradable.

Your baby's safety and comfort are always our top priority throughout the entire process.
Each mold takes approximately 30–60 seconds to set.

Please note that each mold creates one casting only and cannot be reused or kept. If you would like multiple castings, we will need to take multiple molds, or we can create replicas later at the workshop.

After the casting session, your sculpture needs time to fully dry before it can be carefully painted, framed, or mounted onto stone.

The full process usually takes approximately 2–3 weeks to complete.
On miniature jewellery
From an exact 99 percent replica of your baby's hand and foot we capture a mold, which goes through a scanning process using our special equipment and software, scaling it down to miniature-size jewellery made out of precious metal — gold, silver, and others.
Yes. All our silver jewellery is made from silver, and all our gold jewellery is 18ct (red, white or yellow) gold.
For us to know the exact price of a gold order, we have to know the exact weight of the baby's casts. The amount of gold mount we need also depends on the market price rate of gold on the day.
After getting the hand and foot impression, the work is completed within 3 weeks.
Each piece is created through a detailed, multi-step process that requires time and precision. Your impression is carefully refined, then digitally scanned and transformed into a 3D design. From there it is 3D printed, cast in your chosen material, and then hand-finished.

Every piece is individually polished, smoothed, and engraved by our skilled jewellers to ensure the highest quality and a perfect final result. This careful process is what makes each keepsake truly unique and meaningful.
On delivery & vouchers
We personally hand-deliver all finished casts whenever possible, and do not post or courier them unless specifically requested and prearranged with parents.

Each piece we create is delicate, sentimental, and truly irreplaceable, so we take every precaution to ensure it arrives safely. We will then arrange a convenient time with you to personally deliver your treasured cast.
